Hello everyone and welcome to the 51st edition of our popular Travel Photography Competition. This week we are reviewing photos published on our Facebook page between 3rd and 11th July.
As you probably already now Hitch-HikersHandbook are currently on the road so don’t forget to follow our progress on our 2 month hitch-hiking trip across northern Italy and the Balkan Peninsula, but you have come for photos, so let’s get on with it.
Our first winner this week shows the silhouettes of camels against the sands of the Sahara desert and was taken in Morroco.
This innovative shot was sent in by Charlotte Ainslie, a budding young photographer from the UK whose work is always impressing us here at HHH. Check out more of her work on her Jumping Boundaries blog.

The second winner this week was taken in the very place where we are now Krk in Croatia and depicts the illuminated old town as seen from across the port. Krk is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic and also boasts the largest population and has been inahbited since prehistoric times. The town of Krk is located in the sothwest of the island and has been inhabited since Roman times.

And our last winner this week is of the wonderful Cascada El Bolao in Toñanes, Cantabria in our adopted home country of Spain.
